How to get site map and verify for blogger site?




blogs come with built-in support for sitemaps. You can access your sitemap by going to yourblog.blogspot.com/atom.xml. This sitemap can be submitted to Google using Google Webmaster Tools. To submit your sitemap to Google, please follow the steps below.

Login you a Google WebmasTer Tools account(Gmail Id)

If you do already login then follow next step>>

Add a Site

you'll type your blog site name and you can do this by clicking on the "Add" button.



Inject the verification script

Once the site has been added, you will need to verify your blogger site that you're using. Click on the tab for "Alternate Method" and select HTML tag from the list. Copy the verification meta tag provided.

Next, take the verification code and use your  blogger site to code add the tag to html code between header tage and top to title tag

Then you will click "verify" button ....

Submit your sitemap

Once you've reached the Google Webmaster Tools sitemap screen, click the red "Add/Test Sitemap" button. Type atom.xml or Sitemap.xml



Enter your sitemap URL

Next, enter your sitemap URL into the sitemap box, your sitemap URL is yourdomain.com/atom.xml or  yourdomain.com/sitemap.xml so you should only need to enter in atom.xml  or  sitemap.xml  into the box. When finished, click the "Submit Sitemap" button to submit the sitemap.

Next, enter your sitemap URL into the sitemap box, your sitemap URL is yourdomain.com/atom.xml, so you should only need to enter in sitemap.xml into the box. When finished, click the "Submit Sitemap" button to submit the sitemap and test.
